How we can help

Gas work must be done by a licensed gas fitter — for your safety and your insurance. We install, connect and repair gas appliances and pipework across Melbourne’s inner city and south east.

Every job is pressure-tested and leak-checked before we leave, and we provide the compliance certificate required in Victoria for the work we do.

Common problems we solve

  • Smell of gas or suspected leaks
  • New cooktop, oven or heater connections
  • Gas hot water installation
  • Outdoor BBQ and patio heater gas points
  • Gas line extensions and relocations
  • Gas safety checks for rental properties
  • Appliances not lighting or burning unevenly

What to expect

  1. 1

    Safety first

Suspected leaks are prioritised. We isolate the supply and locate the leak with detection equipment.

  2. 2

    Plan the work

We check the gas supply can handle the appliance and plan the pipe route neatly.

  3. 3

    Install and test

Work is carried out to Australian standards, then pressure-tested and leak-checked.

  4. 4

    Paperwork

You receive the compliance certificate required for the gas work we complete.

Pricing & quotes

Appliance connections and gas points are quoted at a fixed price once we know the location and pipe run. Leak repairs are quoted once the leak is found.

* The $0 call-out fee applies when you go ahead with the quoted work. If you decide not to proceed after we have attended and quoted, a $49 dispatch fee applies. See all offers & our guarantee.

Frequently asked questions

I can smell gas — what should I do?

Turn off the gas at the meter if it's safe to do so, open windows, avoid switches and naked flames, and leave the house. Then call us or your gas distributor's emergency line.

Do landlords need gas safety checks?

In Victoria, rental providers must arrange gas safety checks at least every two years. We can carry out the check and provide the report.

Can you connect an appliance I bought myself?

Yes. We'll check it's suitable for your gas type and supply, then connect and test it.
